One mom from England was left guffawing after her 10-year-old daughter presented her with a card dedicated to her love for vodka — and even had help from teachers to make it.
Jordanna Jones’ daughter, Jaelyn, came home from school with a special note for her that read, "You love VODKA girl," adorned with a photo of a purple bottle of the booze on the front.
Jones even added the words "I heart vodka" across the front. Inside, she decorated it with hearts.
"It was really unexpected," the 30-year-old mom of four revealed to Kennedy News. "I just did a nervous laugh, like, ‘have you actually done this?’ I was quite shocked."
Jones’ teachers assisted her in the card-making process and even helped her cut out a picture of the vodka bottle and paste it on the front of the paper.
"She had the card behind her back, and was quite giggly," Jones said. "Then she handed it to me and I was like, ‘oh my life’, and laughed."
The card wasn't all on the rocks, though. Jones added in a line that read, "Note: you are the best mum EVER."
However, there's a catch: The mom claimed that she actually doesn't drink vodka.
She thinks her daughter got the booze confused with her favorite bottle of plum gin.
But her mom doesn't mind and she's pretty proud of her child for her sassy sense of humor.
"She's very outgoing and funny," Jones said about her daughter. "She's quite a comedian."
She continued about the card, "She was quite proud of it. She said that the teachers said it was great, and that they’d helped her to cut the bottle out to stick on the front."
Shortly after Jones received her daughter's card, she had a parents’ night at her school, where the teachers praised her child for the funny incident.
"They said she’d thought outside the box, and that it was really funny," Jones revealed.
She and her husband, Tom, are treasuring the funny piece of art and have plans to put it in a memory box.
Right now, it's resting on their mantelpiece at home, which the mom calls a "pride of place."
Jones even took to her Facebook page to share more about the holy spirit of all gifts, posting a picture of her daughter's card to the platform.
It racked up more than 600 likes, shares and comments.
Although Jones was dazzled by her daughter's creativity, she said that she hopes her husband is the next target. He thought it was pitcher-perfect.
"I did remind him that it's not long until Father's Day, and that quickly took the smile off his face," Jones joked. "It’ll be his turn next."
